We believe having a vibrant, personal relationship with God is what we were made for. Spending time in the Word, talking with God, being totally devoted to God and seeing everything in our lives through our relationship with Him.
Real Community
We were made for relationships! We believe in living out deep, intentional relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We find this best takes place in what we call Core Groups!
Real Responsibility
We believe every Christian has an outward responsibility and should do their part in global missions, relational evangelism and justice. In Chi Alpha, we provide students ways to serve in these ways.

Hunter and Julia got married the summer after Hunter graduated from the University of Virginia. While living in Charlottesville, Hunter was completing his internship program with Chi Alpha at UVA and Julia worked as a Training Director at Chick-fil-A. During that year, Josh and Katie Moran asked them to join their pioneering team to start Chi Alpha at James Madison University. After careful consideration and a lot of prayer, they decided to go! Since 2019, they have been a part of Chi Alpha at JMU and are living the dream!
